ah, yoga.

I am constantly amazed by the power of yoga.  It doesn't matter how tired or how cranky I am, when I finally get on the mat I feel better.  Calmer.  Happier.  More open.  Softer.  Smiling.

How do you motivate yourself to get on the mat? Somedays it is what I need, but the couch grabs me first...such a bad habit......

Diana--I know, the mat is always what I need but sometimes it is so hard to get there. I know how good I will feel after...but, you're right, the couch is soooo comfy ;) Honestly, I usually motivate myself with something totally superficial...like, my arms will get flabby if I don't practice today. That usually gets me on the mat. How sad is that?

Me too! Had that reminder of the power of yoga the other day after sitting my butt all day for work.
