a closer look

I finally brought a few things into the new studio space.  Namely my very few props.

But, for an organic element I brought in some pussy willows from the ranch that my mom and dad hunted.  I hung a clock above the door, so I can see it  but my students can't.  And, I found a little bench at Ross for $11.99 and created a sitting area with the display window ledge and a comfy on the bare feet rug.

The prop wall with my very few props.

Toward the back of the studio.  Through that door is the large back room and tiny bathroom (which needs a very serious deep clean.  yuck.)

The door of the studio.  The curtain panels were there, a gift from the previous teacher.  I moved the screen onto the display window ledge to create a little more privacy.  It is on a busy street.  You can see the willows next to the screen and my cheap-o but beloved Buddha on the shelf.

Here you can see the little seating area.  I thought I could just use the display window ledge for a bench.  Oh, and I *heart* the radiator.  I have a thing for radiators.  Our house has radiators, too.

I hate radiators. But that is mostly to do with the uselessness of British plumbing rather than the radiators themselves. For such a cold country we have no idea about heating...

Your studio looks lovely, there's such a warm feeling coming from the pictures, lovely!
